Kigali, June 10, 2026 – President of Rwanda Paul Kagame sacked three members of his Cabinet, namely Minister of Infrastructure Dr. Jimmy Gasore, Minister of Public Services and Labor Ambassador Christine Nkulikiyinka, and Minister of Trade and Industry Prudence Sebahizi.

The above mentioned reshuffle in Rwanda’s Cabinet was communicated in an official statement released by the office of Prime Minister on Wednesday.

As per the new restructuring, Damien Murwanashyaka has been appointed Minister of Infrastructure in place of Dr. Gasore while Armand Zingiro has been made Minister of State for Infrastructure ministry, succeeding Ambassador Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye. Col. Claudien Bizimungu has been appointed Permanent Secretary of the ministry.

The reasons for the above reshuffle have not yet been stated officially.
