Amagaju FC Word to Win APR FC

Amagaju FC has vowed to defeat APR FC in a league match, saying it will be the start of the  new year with the club 90 year's Anniversary. 

On January 12, 2025, the 15th match of the first division football league will be held at the Huye International Stadium, which will bring together Amagaju FC and APR FC.

It is a match that the Amagaju management says it has taken as a way to start the year 2025 well by 'giving fans New Year wish.

It is a match that will also help the club from Nyamagabe District to start the year in which it will celebrate 90 years since it was founded, given that it was founded in 1935 during the reign of King Mutara III Rudahigwa in Bufundu, now in Nyamagabe District.

The team spokesperson, Prince Theogene Nzabihimana told UMUSEKE that they plan celebration of   the team’s anniversary of 90’s years’ existence with triumph over starting to the big teams.

He said, “This year 2025, we will celebrate the 90th anniversary of our existence [Amagaju]. We want to celebrate the anniversary by winning over the big   teams starting with APR FC.”

We call up fans to attend at large . We want to make them happy on that day”. He added.

This match, which will conclude the first half of the season, Amagaju has already announced the entrance prices where tickets are now on sale at 1,000 Rwf for open seats, 3,000 Rwf, 5,000 Rwf for VIP seats and 10,000 Rwf for VVIP seats.

These prices will change from Friday, January 10,  where tickets will be sold at Rwf 2,000, Rwf 5,000, Rwf 10,000 and Rwf 15,000.

Currently, Amagaju FC is in ninth place with 18 points, while APR FC is in second place with 28 points from 13 games played, in the provisional league standings.
