The Rwanda Meteorological Agency (Mateo Rwanda) has predicted that the months of June, July and August 2024 will be slightly above normal in summer, where it will reach between 22 and 32 degrees Celsius.
Rwandans have been encouraged to prepare for these conditions, farmers are asked to avoid crop damage while breeders are asked to properly store livestock grass and plan to irrigate the areas where agricultural work will be done.

Meteo Rwanda said that there is a decrease in water in the ground, streams and rivers.
Low temperatures are expected to increase compared to high temperatures. Expected high temperatures this summer are generally expected between 22 and 32 degrees Celsius, which is slightly above the average high temperature for Spring.

The minimum temperature forecast for this summer is between 10 and 18 degrees Celsius across the country which is above the normal summer minimum temperature. The average summer low temperature is between 7 and 16 degrees Celsius.
